I thought you would like to know that...
The company that brought you "Farmville" and "Mafia Wars" on Facebook is now preparing to release "Empires & Allies". This game promises to be just as addicting to fans as previous games, but targeted to a different brand of people. While Zynga's previous games were played mostly by women between the ages of 25-44, this game is trying to consume players that stayed away from "Farmville".
It is a strategy game that introduces war on Facebook between friends. You can either build an empire of friends or declare war on everyone. This game reminds me of very early strategy games for the Nintendo DS.
Prepare yourself for the onslaught of Facebook requests as this game will most definitely be a big hit amongst most of your friends.
I personally will probably find that "hidden" 'X' button above the first request that pops up and select "hide all posts from 'Empires & Allies'". It isn't anything personal, however you are clogging up my wall.
