...Companies Are Missing A Valuable Chance.

I thought you would like to know that I think our American companies are missing out on a valuable chance to capatalize on our nation's largest problem.

We have an enormous unemployment rate for being a leading country in the world's economy. We can continue to look at this as a problem without a solution and spend countless hours listening to reporters and reading magazines droning on about how horrible our government is, or we can look at what opportunites this provides us.

I do not mean to patronize any of you, as I am sure that this simple economic policy is well known to most by now. But, for instructional purposes only:
Supply and demand dictates what price we pay for an item. If the supply of the item is low than the price will be high and many people will have to make do with the items they already have. If the supply for the item is high than the price will drop.

Companies have a rare opportunity to "try out" hungry, less expensive talent. These men and women are more than likely fresh out of college, the military, or recently laid off.

A company must continuously try to grow or it will begin to decline. The executives in our country's top companies are starting to age past retirement time. I believe this is the company's fault for not motivating them to retire. As a person becomes older they become comfortable with their environment and are less willing to instigate change. These individuals may be great consul but no longer need to sit behind the buttons.

There are a "Google" of potential hotshots out there trying to find a place to make waves and do great things. Take a shot on these guys and gals and you may find your company start to trend improvement.

I am not trying to hang our wiser, older executives out to dry. There is a very much more important need for them. Our world is sitting on the brink of a major economic emergency. These men and women know what to do. We need them to begin the second half of their successful lives leading our world through these rough times. They shouldn't worry about furthering their estate's worth. Their is plenty of money in politics today.

What do you think?
