I thought you would like to know what that loud explosion was in downtown Asheville, NC today.

Twitter lit up this afternoon when the City of Asheville's Federal Building and the surrounding streets shut down due to a suspicious package found. The package was destroyed by using a "blank" round and high pressure water and no explosives were found. The package was a grocery bag on a column with clothes and "possible device components". Attached to the bag was a cryptic note. The authorities are saying this hoax package matches others in the past thought to have placed by the same individual. They are not naming the individual until they have that individual in custody.
